Open Day at Iscoyd Park, Shropshire
Sunday 28th September 2014
Iscoyd Park in Whitchurch, Shropshire would like to invite you to an open day on Sunday 28th September to see behind the scenes of this Georgian Grade I listed manor with the opportunity to meet the owners, Phil and Susie Godsal. The day will be a wonderful opportunity to see how Iscoyd Park works as an exclusive use wedding venue.
The estate covers 60 acres, boasting panoramic views to capture all those special moments. The current owners Phil and Susie Godsal live on the estate with their three children and recently restored the house back to its full glory. The bulk of the restoration was finished in May 2010, 20 minutes before the bridal party arrived for the first wedding!
Iscoyd Park has a variety of stunning settings to enjoy the wedding feast. The Marquee, which accommodates 50 to 160 guests, boasts beautiful chandeliers and twinkling pea lights that give a romantic yet spectacular feel. For smaller parties of 50 guests or less, couples may prefer the Drawing Room with wooden floors, family portraits and classical paintings, a romantic and intimate setting.
The property's gardens are scattered with mementos of each wedding ceremony as each couple is invited to plant their own tree in the stunning 18th Century Parklands.
There are a wide variety of activities on offer for wedding parties to enjoy within the Park.Clay pigeon shooting, archery and quad biking can be arranged on request or guests may wish to pamper themselves in the Secret Spa in preparation for the big day! The Secret Spa, which has won several national awards including Salon of the Year, launched its new treatment rooms in one of Iscoyd’s newly converted stable buildings in Autumn 2011.
It is approximately 1 hour away from Liverpool, Manchester and Birmingham and 3 hours away from London by Car and 1 hour away from Manchester and 1.5 hours away from Birmingham by train.
Whitewell is a charming church which seats up to 150 and is only a four-minute drive from Iscoyd Park. Flanked by trees, it sits in a beautiful and private setting and welcomes both weddings and blessings.

Keep in mind, if you do choose to have a wedding or event here that the maximum capacity with a dance floor is about 150. So it is different from having a big vow renewal location.
