Weekly Round-up 15.06.14

Round-up posts go live early on a Sunday morning, but they're always typed up in advance. This week's weekly round-up is being put together while the Hubby watches the England v Italy match. Mark really enjoys the world cup regardless of how well England do in the tournament. I can't be the only football widow though? Has the world cup affected anyone's wedding planning? Or is the fact that the matches take place so late in the evening our saving grace?
I started jotting down ideas for this week's Monday Tips about Wedding Venues, I hadn't realised there was so much to consider. So I've had to break it down to three separate posts, of which the second will be published on Monday (tomorrow for you guys). You can find the first in the series here.

I got to share the Blog's first ever Engagement shoot on Wednesday which I was sooooooo exited about. IU hadn't known anyone to have an Engagement shoot until we were organising our wedding but I think they are a great way to familiarise yourself with having your photo's taken all day, a great practise for forgetting about the camera if you're having a reportage style wedding album. You can view the images by Heledd Roberts here.

From Wednesday onwards the weather has really picked up, I get so exited for summer when we get sunny days like this. A lot of you will argue that as it's June we're technically in Summer already; but in my head - "summer" doesn't start until the kids break up from school in July...and I bet you we get rubbish weather then. If you've been tempted by the image of a beach wedding in an exotic country, Friday's post by Dona Kirkham is the one for you! Dona is a Travel Counsellor who loves weddings almost as much as I do and she's - the perfect person to know for overseas Weddings. You can catch Dona's post here.

I hope you're all having a great weekend and I'll be back tomorrow.

Gemma xx
