Supplier Profile || 'I Do' Wedding Hire

It's Friday which means there are countless Happy Couples looking forward to their Wedding Day this weekend. For those still planning their wedding, a weekend is usually a time for more organising. Today I have another supplier for you to meet - 'I Do' Wedding Hire who are based on Anglesey.

When did you set up your business and what what inspired you to do so?
I Do Wedding Hire was dreamt of during the planning for our own Wedding in 2011. I failed to find a company who was able to dress our Venue within the very tight budget that we had and that was able to take or offer a monthly payment plan. We started to promote ‘I Do Wedding Hire’ on Facebook in June 2103 after a long time planning and researching and collecting/buying lots and lots of stock! We were an instant hit and have booked over 30 Weddings this year alone!!

Where are you based and what geographical area do you cover?
We’re based on Anglesey, we cover the North West and Wales mainly, but have travelled as far as Ware, outside London to dress a Venue!

How would you describe your style?
I aim to offer what Brides want :-) But, I also know that all Brides want something a little different - I’m always on the look out for products or ‘looks’ that other companies have yet to offer (I believe we were the first within North Wales to offer the ruffled chair hood! and Wooden centrepieces!!)

What makes you different to your competitor?
No budget is too small (or too big! Lol!) We also offer a monthly payment plan - which allows Brides and their families to budget for their Big day! We don’t just offer a set type of ‘Centrepiece’ or ‘Chair covering’ either - we open to new ideas and products and strive to offer that something a little different!

What do you like the most about your job?
Meeting couples who are excited and enthusiastic full of ideas how they would like their big day to look and being able to turn that thought or Dream into reality!! I love the challenge! I also love the long term relationships you build with some of the couples. We’re not just Venue dressers, we’re there for their children’s Christenings, Birthdays, Anniversaries!!

What sort of Bride/ Couple do you think you attract?
All kinds! Mainly, those with a tight budget!

What would be your ideal wedding to work on?
Oh my gosh!! We’re about to dress the Faenol in Bangor - its a converted Barn and I can’t wait to be part of it! Huge beams to dress with flowers and bunting and just lots and lots of candles. A Wedding Venue doesn’t have to cost thousands to look breathtakingly beautiful!

What’s been your proudest accomplishment so far?
I thought the bookings would trickle in in the first year, but to have over 30 bookings this year alone and continuing to get enquiries on a daily basis is fabulous! We must be doing something right :-)

Can you give me some information on your pricing structure
Our Lycra Chair covers (with Organza sash) are £2 per chair, our Centrepieces start from as little as £8 per table and we also offer packages that start from as little as £280. I believe we offer very good value for money without compromise to the quality of our goods.
